Pleasant Valley Triathlon raises $10,000 for school programs
October 7, 2019
On September 25 and 26, students and staff at Pleasant Valley Elementary School held their seventh annual Triathlon.
Students raised money through pledges for participating in healthy activities during a partial day of school which revolved around reading, walking and dancing. Guest readers, including Parma Heights mayor Michael Byrne, read aloud to classes, along with various staff members from throughout the PCSD and the community.
Each year this event raises over $10,000 for Pleasant Valley Elementary and STEM Education programs in the building, and every dollar is spent directly on students and educational programming.
