Incoming seniors, Daniel Pajestka (left) and Jordyn Durdella (right) were 2 of 45 students chosen to attend the ACAP - Ohio (Accounting Careers Awareness Program) held at The Ohio State University from June 9 - 15.
This all-expense paid program allowed Jordyn and Dan to attend interactive workshops and visit local businesses to see the opportunities available if they choose a career in accounting. They also got to experience living in dorms at Ohio State for five days.
There is a huge demand in the accounting field with a predicted 139,000 new accounting jobs available by 2026 nationally.
