Renwood Light the Way Fundraiser for Homebound Senior Citizens

Light the Way to a Warmer and Brighter Holiday Season for a Parma Homebound Senior Citizen

The Renwood Elementary Student Council will be working with the Donna Smallwood Senior Center of Parma again this year to help homebound senior citizens in the Parma area this holiday season. We have many seniors in the Parma area who are unable to leave their homes without assistance and often have to make the choice between eating and having basic supplies for daily life.

We would like to help them and to help build a bridge to the seniors in the Parma Community to show them that their young people and families care for them and want to help.

Each student who brings in an item will receive a star to write their name on, which we will string throughout the school from our Giving Tree to the front door, to signal a bright path to our community.

We are looking for donations of daily pill organizers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, soap, hand soap in pumps, hand sanitizers, toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, denture care items, deodorant, laundry detergent/dryer sheets. We are also looking for gloves, fingerless gloves, scarves, and warm, comfy socks for our seniors.

Please help show your support and caring for our seniors this holiday season! Community members are welcome to drop off donations at our school. Donations will be accepted 8:00 am – 4:00 pm daily from December 3rd - 13th. Thank you!
