We are very disappointed by the failure of Issue 9. Our students need and deserve new facilities and our communities would have benefited in multiple ways from this proposed plan. Normandy and Valley Forge will be functional, warm, safe, and dry environments for our high school students as we consolidate for next school year. However, they also carry a price tag of at least $103 million to renovate and improve. We must continue to explore means of updating our schools.
