Dean of Students, Ridge-Brook Elementary School, Principal of Parma Community Schools (K-12, all buildings); Assistant Principal Pearl Road Elementary; Middle School social studies teacher in Cleveland

Education:
Anderson University- Bachelors; University of Dayton- Masters; Currently working on my superintendent licensure at Youngstown State University; Currently working on my PhD in Leadership Studies specializing in Education at the University of the Cumberlands.

Why did you want this new position?
Education is a calling and I am called to the education field. I love what I do and I wanted to be part of the city school district in the community I live in. I am able to do what I love while serving in the community I live in.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?
Building relationships with the staff, students and families.

Goals: 
This year, we will implement universal writing procedures using our board-approved curriculum. By the end of the year, we hope that 100% of our students will show growth with targeted writing skills when assessed on published writing pieces utilizing universal rubrics.

What is one thing you want people to know about you?
I feel very strongly about community engagement and giving back to your community through positive relationships. As a teacher and leader, this is something that I hope to instill in our students: the power of your role as a citizen within a community.
