THE PARMA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULAR MEETING CHANGE OF LOCATION NOTICE
Pursuant to R.C. 3313.16 and R.C. 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, notice is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Parma City School District, Cuyahoga County, Ohio scheduled to be held by Zoom on
June 10, 2021
will now be conducted in the Karen Dendorfer Board Room at the Parma City Schools Administration Center, 5311 Longwood Avenue, Parma, Ohio at 6:00 p.m.
Due to the District’s decision to continue maintaining a three-feet social distancing, we are only able to provide a very limited number of seats in the Board Room for members of the public who are not able to engage via Facebook or prefer to attend in-person. If you wish to attend in person, please email Pam Bartkowski (email@example.com) by 2:00 p.m. the day of the meeting to inquire about the availability of seating.
In November 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed H.B. 404 extending the effectiveness of Am. Sub. H.B. 197 signed on March 27, 2020, authorizing governing bodies, including public school boards, to conduct open meetings using teleconference or other video and electronic technology until July 1, 2021. In light of this legislation, the District will continue to stream our meetings live to Facebook and the District’s website until July 1, 2021 in accordance with HB 404 or until such legislation is otherwise extended.
Members of the public who are unable or choose not to attend the Board meeting in person may submit public comment on Board agenda resolutions or general matters by e-mailing Pam Bartkowski at firstname.lastname@example.org to 4:00 p.m. each meeting day.
