How does it feel to be in this new position?
It feels great to be in a position that allows me to work with every sport program, every student-athlete, and every coach to achieve excellence both in the classroom and in competition.

Why did you want this new position?
I have spent much of my life around athletics. As a former high school and collegiate athlete, I have had the great privilege of gaining experiences to travel and meet people that I never would have if it were not for athletics. I would love to be able to give the student-athletes at Normandy High School the same opportunities I was granted.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?
I look forward to meeting and working with all the student-athletes, coaches, and my colleagues here at Normandy and learn how I can help to better improve the athletics program at Normandy High School.

Goals:
Short Term:
- Implement strategies and systems that better organize the athletics program at Normandy.
- Establish expectations in each sports program that helps achieve success on and off the field of competition
Long Term:
- Create an Athletic Program that gives all student-athletes the opportunity to grow both on the field and off it. By organizing events where student-athletes can meet with real world leaders to hear and learn from the best, and to work with other student-athletes to collaborate on how they can better improve as students, athletes, and individuals.

What do you want people to know about you?
I am married to my wife Rachel who is also an educator, and we have two dogs Duke and Archie.
