Jennifer Sieracki - Class of 1990

  • Jennifer Sieracki - Class of 1990 While at Normandy, Jennifer ran track & field. She was a two time state qualifier. In 1989, she won the state championship in the long jump with a jump of 18”10”. In 1990, she finished 3rd in the state track meet in the long jump. Jennifer also qualified for the state track meet in the 100 meter dash.
     
    Jennifer was all conference all four years in the Lake Erie League from 1986-1990. In addition to being a part of the track team. Jennifer also earned letters from playing basketball. She served as team captain for both the track and basketball teams.
     
    In 1989, Jennifer received a Key to the City for Parma for being the first female state champion. In that same year, she finished 15th in the country in the Junior Olympics track and field in the long jump.
     
    Jennifer received a full scholarship to the University of Akron. She was a four year letter winner at Akron. She was inducted into the Seven Hills Sports Hall of fame in 2014.
     
    Jennifer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She is currently working for Summit County Children Services. She is a current resident of Seven Hills and is married to Jonathan Nichols. She has one step child in addition to three children with Jonathan. She is still an active runner and participates in 5K and 10K races.
