Community and Family Connections
The Parma City School District Office of Community and Family Connections is
dedicated to creating and fostering partnerships between the schools, community
resources and local systems of care. Our mission is to meet the increased needs of
vulnerable student and family populations, including (but not limited to) the
following:
● Youth in foster / Kinship care
● Youth experiencing homelessness.
● Justice-involved and adjudicated youth
● English Learners
● Military-connected youth
● Students with disabilities
● Students and families experiencing hardship or Crisis
The goal is to build the bridges between families, schools and communities to
address issues that prevent the attainment of academic success in the classroom
setting. As well as identify resources and opportunities to improve student
wellness, increase family engagement, and serve the whole child. Please contact
your building Home Liaison if you are in need of connection to community
resources like Mental Health Support for your child.
Our Home Liaisons focus on supporting the whole child by linking families and
students to community resources.
Please click this link if you need resources like mental health support for your
child or your family is experiencing any form of hardships. Once the form is
complete, you will be contacted within 48 hours.
