Byers Field Rules and Expectations for Spectators

To ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone, all spectators must follow these rules during events. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises.

Admission & Attendance

• All spectators must have a valid ticket or school ID.
• No re-entry once you leave the stadium.
• The school reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone violating these rules.

Student Supervision

• All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Students must remain in the stands and follow all school behavior expectations.

Bags & Prohibited Items

• One clear bag per person made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC.
• Common size limit: about 12″ wide × 6″ deep × 12″ tall.
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (like a Ziplock) is frequently acceptable.
• Small clutch bag/purse 
• Medically necessary bags/items (e.g., medicines, equipment)
• ALL BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO BEING SEARCHED FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY REASONS
• No alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or drugs.
• No weapons or dangerous objects.
• No outside food, drinks, or coolers.
• No artificial noisemakers (air horns, whistles, etc.) unless approved.
• No pets, service animals only. 

Sportsmanship & Conduct

• Cheer for your team, not against others.
• No profanity, taunting, or negative behavior.
• Respect officials, coaches, players, and other fans.
• Stay in designated spectator areas — no field or sideline access.

Safety & Emergencies

• Report any unsafe or suspicious behavior immediately.
• Keep aisles and exits clear.
• Follow all emergency and evacuation instructions.
