PCSD Reminds Families to Download and Register for Stopfinder Bus App

The Parma City School District is reminding parents and guardians to download and register for the Stopfinder app to take advantage of real-time school bus tracking and direct communication with the district’s transportation department.

Stopfinder is a secure, easy-to-use app that allows authorized parents and guardians to track their child’s school bus in real time through GeoAlert notifications. In addition to live bus location updates, the app provides bus stop and schedule information and allows families to customize when and how they receive alerts.

The platform also provides a method of communication between families and the Transportation Department. Through the two-way messaging feature, parents can connect with transportation staff and receive timely responses. By integrating directly with the district’s routing system, Routefinder Plus, the app allows the Transportation Department to send targeted notifications to specific neighborhoods or bus routes, such as alerts about road closures, delays, or route changes.

This tool will improve efficiency and responsiveness within the transportation department by providing families with immediate access to accurate bus information while streamlining communication.

Families should have already received, or will soon receive, an updated email invitation with instructions to register. Families who have not yet downloaded the Stopfinder app are encouraged to do so soon to ensure uninterrupted access to transportation information.
