Dear Parents,

Safety is our number one priority at school, along with academic achievement and making sure our children at Dentzler make continuous progress. In order for ALL students to be safe, we ask you to please adhere to all of our arrival/dismissal procedures and safety protocols. 

Arrival-Dismissal Map

When entering the back lot, please adhere to the following:
 Drive slowly
 Follow the yellow arrows to drop off by door #7 for grades 2, 3, and 4 behind the building
 Remain in your vehicle. There is no parking allowed.
 Please be patient as there are a lot of students coming in and out.

If you are picking up/dropping off a kindergarten and first grade student, please adhere to the following:
 Please do not park on Lyle Ave.
 If you want to walk your child to the door/pick your child up at the door, please park on a side street and walk to the kindergarten/first grade entrance.

Lyle Avenue – This is a No Parking area. Please adhere to the following:
 The area on Lyle between Dentzler Road and Jeanne is for drop-off only.

Front Loop/Driveway – Please adhere to the following:
 This area is for buses and special education students (rooms 7, 15, 26, and 28A) only at arrival and dismissal. Orange parking passes will be distributed to parents to gain access to this area.
 The front (loop/driveway) is closed between the hours of 8:55-9:40 a.m. and 3:00-4:00 p.m.
 Sp. Ed. Families in rooms 7, 15, 26, and 28A should remain in your vehicle. Assistants will escort your child to and from your vehicle.

We thank you for your attention to these procedures in order to keep our students safe. I know we all want our children to be safe as they enter and leave school. If you have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to call.
