Doug Meyers - Parma Senior High Class of 2003

Meyers was a standout in football and baseball for the Redmen earning three varsity letters in each sport. As Quarterback of the Redmen football team, Meyers was a two-time All-Conference selection while setting the school record for pass completions in a season and career. In baseball, Meyers was a three-time All-Conference selection and was named LEL Most Valuable Player leading the Redmen to the Conference title. He was selected for the East-West All-Star game in both sports.
Meyers continued his education and football career at John Carroll University. Meyers returned to Parma Sr. where he currently teaches social studies and coaches football.
