Term Expires December 31, 2023
On December 3, 2020, Cynthia Lee Bratz (Cyndee) was appointed to the Parma City Schools Board of Education and sworn in by Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter. She was subsequently elected to fill the final two years of the term in November, 2021. Cyndee previously served on the PCSD Board of Education from 2006-2009, two of those years as board president, and has been extremely active in the district for decades. Her passion for education and advocacy for children and parents have been driving forces in her life.
A proud graduate of Normandy High School, Cyndee also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Miami University.
Cyndee and her husband, Lloyd, have four children, all of whom are graduates of Parma City Schools. She is a trustee for The Parma City Schools Foundation and serves on the executive board of Parma Council of PTAs as Community Scholarship Chairperson. Cyndee is also active in the Safe Kids/Safe Communities Coalition of Northeast Ohio, Parma Area Chamber of Commerce and Past Gavelers Association of Parma among other community organizations.
Cyndee serves on the Business and Curriculum committees for the Board.
