While at Normandy Lisa played soccer and cross country earning eight letters as well as earning two letters in track & field and a single letter in basketball. She was a two time League MVP in cross country as well as earning League MVP honors in Soccer as a senior.
Lisa continued to play Soccer at Kent State University from 2004 to 2007. In her time at Kent State, Lisa had a stellar career for the Flashes. While at Kent, Lisa was on the MAC All Freshman team her first year. She earned All-Academic All MAC team in 2005, 2006, and 2007. As a senior at Kent, she was team captain and was selected for ESPN's 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All District Team. Lisa is 5th all time in Kent State Women's soccer history in goals scored, with 18; as well as third in school history
in shots on goal with 89. She is third in Kent State history in women's soccer in matches played with 80.
Lisa returned to Normandy to coach in 2008 and continued her own playing career from 2005 to2008 with the Cleveland International's Women's semi pro team. After that, she continued in 2011 with the Northern Virginia Majesties semi pro team.
Lisa married and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. She is married to Rick Allen and they have an 8 year old Golden Lab. She currently works in Washington D.C. as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Foreign Agricultural Service, and has worked here since 2010.
