Meghan Gallagher - Class of 1988

Meghan Gallagher participated in volleyball, basketball, and track and earned nine varsity letters from 1984 to 1988. She was also the captain of the volleyball and basketball teams.
Megan is ranked No. 10 all-time on the career scoring list for the Patriots with 675 points.
Megan was selected as one of eight scholar athletes from across the country to receive the prestigious USA Today AAU Milky Way All-American Award. March 10th, 1988, was officially declared “Meghan Gallagher Day” in the state of Ohio. Megan also received the ESPN National High School Scholar Athlete Award in 1988.
After graduating as valedictorian, Megan went on to play volleyball at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, her team won the NCAA Division I Ivy League Championship in 1989 and 1990. She received the Penn Volleyball Award for competitive excellence in 1991 and was also a co-captain. Megan lettered three times in volleyball during her career at Penn: 1989, 1990, 1991. Meghan also trained year round with both the Penn women’s basketball team and the Penn track team. Megan went on to earn a marketing degree from Northwestern University.
