Patty Kochis - Class of 1979

  • Patty Kochis Patty participated in volleyball, basketball and softball, earning eight letters from 1976 to 1979. She was a key member of the 1979 basketball team that won the Lake Erie League Championship and went on to qualify for the regional tournament. During her basketball career, Patty Earned All-Lake Erie League honors her junior and senior year, being named MVP of the league her senior season. She was named the co-most improved her junior year and co-MVP her senior season. Patty earned First Team All-City as well as Second Team All-State.

    In volleyball and softball, Patty earned All-LEL honors her junior and senior year. She went on to play softball and basketball at Cleveland State University. She played two years of softball and four years of basketball. She was named captain her senior season and CSU went on to play in the NCAA Tournament.

    Patty earned her BS in Elementary Education and later earned her Masters in School Administration from St. Mary’s in Moraga, California.
