Rick Yurcheshen - Class of 1968

  • Rick Yurcheshen Rick was a three year starter on the Patriot basketball team coached by John Broski. Those teams won two Lake Erie League Championships, including the 1966-67 team which finished an undefeated (18-0) regular season in the competitive LEL.

    Rick was selected as an All-LEL performer twice and was chosen as an All-Scholastic Performer by the Plain Dealer. Rick is still among the top all time Patriot basketball players in scoring, ranking third with 1,000 career points.

    At Yale, Rick participated in basketball and crew. He later earned a Ph.D, in Psychology at Case-Western Reserve University and has a practice in San Antonio, Texas.
