Pat was the second of two varsity coaches who covered the first 40 years of Valley Forge wrestling.  Under Coach Semary, the Patriots won five Lake Erie League titles and were runner up several more times.  They were among the top 4 at the Brecksville Holiday Tournament six times and won two sectional titles.  Pat coached 80 district qualifiers, 15 state qualifiers, seven state placers and two state champions.  He was selected as Greater Cleveland Division I Coach of the Year three times.

 

Pat was inducted into the Kent State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994.
