Natalie Sako - Class of 2003

Natalie lettered in volleyball, basketball and track while at Valley Forge. She was the volleyball team captain her senior year and was an All-Lake Erie League selection. Natalie became a dominating athlete as a high jumper, earning All-Lake Erie League and All-Ohio honors. She established the Patriot record of 5'7" while winning the OHSAA state championship in 2003. Natalie was selected as the Valley Forge Outstanding Female Athlete in 2003.At the University of Akron, Natalie was the MAC high jump champion three times. She helped Akron to five MAC titles and was chosen four times as a NCAA Division I All-American. Her 6' 0" jump qualified her for the Olympic Trials. She is also listed as a Top 40 athletes in Akron sports over 40 years.
