Anthony earned letters in basketball and baseball at Valley Forge and is listed on the career points list in basketball.  He played on two basketball teams that reached the regional tournament.  Anthony excelled on the diamond where he was recognized as an All-Scholastic Team selection and a member of the All-Ohio Team.  He was honored at Jacobs Field as the Greater Cleveland Pitcher of the Year.  He was undefeated on the mound as a senior and had a .430 batting average.  Anthony was selected as the Valley Forge Outstanding Male Athlete in 1997.

 

Anthony also had great success pitching at Bowling Green State University and later pitched in the Boston Red Sox organization.  He is presently a school principal in Vermont working on his doctorate degree.
