Ken earned three letters in wrestling for Coach Semary.  He was an All-Lake Erie League as well as a sectional, district and OHSAA state wrestling champion.  He was the 1982 Lake Erie League Most Valuable Player.  Ken was a key member of Coach Semary's first Lake Erie League Championship team in 1982.

 

Ken won the Brecksville Tournament wearing a Darth Vader-like mask following an emergency room trip to stitch up his lip which was cut during a third round match.  Ken was an East-West Cuyahoga and Ohio All-Star and received the U.S. Army Scholar Athlete award.  His overall three year record was 68 wins and 7 losses.

 

Ken was selected as the Valley Forge Outstanding Athlete in 1982.
