Coleen earned nine letters in cross country, basketball and track. She is among the top 20 in career points and was a key player on the regional qualifying team.  In cross country, she led the Patriots to a Lake Erie League championship and finished third in the state meet, and set the 5K school record of 18:04.  Coleen also holds four individual and relay Patriot track records.  Coleen earned third place in 1600m run and fifth place in the 3200m relay at the state track meet.  Coleen was chosen as the Outstanding Female Patriot Athlete in 1983.

 

Coleen attended Villanova University where she was a two-time All-American in track and cross country and Villanova won nine conference titles and qualified for 11 NCAA finals.  Coleen was on the Wildcat World Record 3200m relay team.
