Eric earned letters in cross country, basketball and track.  He ran to All-Lake Erie League honors in cross country and track and was captain of the first team of Patriots to win a Lake Erie League title in 1963.

 

Eric finished third in Ohio at the 1963 state cross country meet and established track records at Valley Forge and Baldwin-Wallace.

 

Both Eric and his son Kyle have a unique honor of winning cross country races for Valley Forge.
