Jim Wolf - Class of 1967


  • Jim Wolf '67
    Jim won letters in basketball and track.  The overall Valley Forge basketball record while Jim was a post player was 45 wins and 11 losses.  He was chosen to both the Cleveland Press and Cleveland Plain Dealer first teams in 1966 and 1967.  Jim held the Valley Forge career scoring record of 1047 points for 47 years.  He also held the Patriot single game record with 42 points.  In addition, Jim averaged over 15 rebounds per game.  He was selected as the Patriot Outstanding Athlete in 1967.
     
    At the University of Pennsylvania, Jim's team finished the 1971 regular season with a 25 wins and 0 loss record and was ranked third in the nation.  He was named as an Ivy League player of the week.
