Don Homyk - Parma Senior High School Class of 1973

  • Don Homyk '73 Homyk was a standout Quarterback on the Redmen LEL Champion football team of 1972. He was selected as the Lake Erie League MVP, Honorable Mention All-Ohio and won the Cleveland Touchdown Club’s Lou Groza Award for being the top high school player in the Greater Cleveland Area.  Homyk was a first-team All-LEL selection and was chosen for the Plain Dealer All-Scholastic and Cleveland Press “Press Stars” teams.

     

    He played at Penn State University until a career-ending knee injury sidelined him. He transferred to Yale where he graduated summa cum laude and then attended the Northwestern School of Law.
