Robert Boulton - Parma Senior High Class of 1957

  • Robert Boulton ''57 Boulton was a multi-sport athlete at PSH, lettering in football, basketball, baseball, and track.  As a Captain and MVP selection in baseball, he was recognized as an All-L.E.L. and Plain Dealer All-Scholastic team member.  Boulton earned three letters and was co-captain in baseball at Bowling Green State University. After graduation and a stint in the U.S. Army, he began his career in the Parma Schools. 

     

    Boulton served the PCSD as a teacher, coach and administrator for forty-five years.  He served as the PCSD Supervisor of Athletics and administrator of Byers Field for thirty-one of those years.  For his many contributions and dedicated service to the PCSD and Parma community athletic programs, he was inducted into both the Parma Amateur Athletic Foundation and PSH Hall of Fame. 

     

    In 2009, the stadium at Ridge Road and Day Drive was named “Byers Field at the Robert M. Boulton Stadium” in his honor.
