According to the United States Department of Education, the educational goal for our students is to be a world-class education system providing high-quality job-training opportunities for the purpose of reducing skills shortages, spurring business growth, encouraging new investment and hiring, sparking innovation, and promoting continued economic growth.

These educational goals are central to rebuilding the United States economy and securing a brighter future for the nation. Career and Technical Education (CTE) plays a critical part in accomplishing this goal.
