Credit Flexibility

  • Senate Bill 66 requires school districts to offer students the opportunity to earn high school credit in ways other than traditional classroom seat time.  Students who have experiences that have allowed them to cover the content offered in a traditional course and can demonstrate mastery of that content can be awarded the credit for that course.  Applications for summer and first semester plans must be submitted to the District Credit Flexibility Committee by April 30th of the previous school year.  Applications for second semester plans must be submitted by November 30th of the current school year.
