    Family discount policy 
    A family discount plan of 10% is applied for families that have more than one child enrolled in the same child care program on a full-time basis (full-time being 4-5 days per week). Parents will be required to pay the full price for the youngest child enrolled. All other enrolled children will be charged 10% less than the amount listed above. (Please note that the Before School, After School, and Pleasantview Day Care program are considered separately when applying the family discount.)

    Tuition Required To Be Pre-paid/ Parents Are Not Invoiced
    Tuition must be paid in advance of services. Please submit a check or money order payable to “Parma Schools – EDC” to the program staff or to Children’s Services, 5311 Longwood Avenue, Parma, OH 44134 on the first day of service each week. (Tuition can be paid bi-weekly or monthly if paid in advance of services.) If paying by cash, please request a written receipt. Credit card payments (VISA, MasterCard, Discover) can be accepted through the Children’s Services office by calling (440) 885-2484.

    Monthly Tuition Invoice
    To pay your tuition on a monthly basis, in advance of services, call the Children's Services office at (440) 885-2484. Our office will send an invoice a week before the first of each month and the payment is due in our office by the 1st of each month. Only parents requesting a monthly payment option will receive an invoice. Tuition invoices are not sent if you choose to pay your tuition weekly.

    Tuition Based on Contracted Service
    Tuition is charged for all days children are scheduled to attend and is the means by which a spot in our program is held. If your child is ill or absent, no refund of tuition will be made issued. Tuition is charged through and including the last day of school.

    Tuition will be charged if a child is suspended from day school and does not attend the child care program.  If a child is suspended from the child care program, no tuition will be charged for the suspended days.

    No Adjustment in Tuition for Unscheduled School Closings
    The child care program tuition-based budgets are determined using the number of scheduled school days. District employees are required to be paid for unanticipated school closings, such as snow days. Therefore, there will be no adjustment in tuition for any unscheduled school closings. We understand this can be a hardship for parents who must also pay for alternative childcare. Please call the office to arrange for an extended payment schedule if necessary.

Auto Pay

  • Auto Pay is a convenient way for you to pay your EDC or DC tuition on a monthly basis. By enrolling in Auto Pay you authorize our Accounts Receivable Department to automatically charge your credit/debit card without the need to call our office each time.

    To enroll in Auto Pay, complete the EDC Auto Pay Form. DO NOT WRITE THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER, EXPIRATION DATE OR 3 DIGIT CODE ON THE FORM. Our office will contact you directly for that information.

    Please return this completed form with your enrollment packet.

    You may enroll or cancel Auto Pay at any time during the school year by calling our office at 440‐885‐2484.
