PBIS

  • What is PBIS?

PBIS is a proactive approach to behavioral interventions designed to promote a climate of safety in our schools, and help students achieve social, emotional and academic success.

PBIS involves our expectations of how students should behave at school. The main focus is in four areas: classroom behavior, hallway behavior, restroom behavior, and bus behavior. We believe that by taking a positive approach, students will show more progress in the school environment. We are incorporating the three Raider R’s:
    •  Respect: Raiders display respectful behaviors to adults, fellow classmates, and their school.
    •  Responsibility: Raiders are responsible students who complete work on time and are prepared for class.
    •  Ready to learn: Raiders come to class prepared and ready to do their best work.
