Extended Day Child Care Registration Information
EDC Registration and Wait List for 2019-2020
Registration forms and fees for the 2019/20 Extended Day Child Care Programs will be accepted, based on availability in each building, until Wednesday, June 5, 2019. No registrations will be accepted by mail, email, or phone between June 6 and July 24. The next opportunity to register for the EDC program will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 and Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM in our office located in the Board of Education building, 5311 Longwood Avenue.
All spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Families will be placed on a wait list once all spaces in a program have been filled.
If your child is enrolled in the Parma City Schools and you are in need of child care for the 2019-2020 school year, call the Children's Services office by Wednesday, June 5 at 440-885-2484 to verify if a slot is available at your child's school. If space is not available, we can place your name on the waitlist.
The EDC office will be closed as of Thursday, June 6, 2019. Walk-in registrations will be accepted on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 and Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The office will re-open on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.

Shiloh MS PM - Availability* Dentzler PM Extended Day Child Care students are transported to Green Valley. Parents of Dentzler students must be able to pick up their child(ren) from Green Valley school by 6:00 PM. The AM program will remain at Dentzler.*Ridge-Brook PM Extended Day Child Care students are transported to Thoreau Park. Parents of Ridge-Brook students must be able to pick up their child(ren) from Thoreau Park school by 6:00 PM. The AM program will remain at Ridge-Brook.**Limited AM and PM Extended Day Child Care slots are available at Parma Park for those EDC STEM students whose home school is NOT Pleasant Valley. Transportation costs to and from Pleasant Valley will be absorbed by Extended Day Child Care. EDC parents must be able to drop off their child(ren) at Parma Park no later than 8:30 AM and must pick up from Parma Park no later than 6:00 PM.Who We AreThe Parma City Schools child care programs are tuition-based programs sponsored by the Parma Board of Education. The programs are designed to provide before and after school child care for children enrolled in kindergarten through seventh grade in the Parma City Schools. Each of our sites follows the policies and procedures outlined throughout this website. However, each site may operate differently due to requirements unique to the building in which they are housed.Extended Day Child Care programs are licensed and inspected by the Ohio Department of Education and follow School Age Child Care licensing rules.
