Extended Day Child Care
ATTENTION EDC FAMILIES
Extended Day Care is currently available for contracted parents based on your child's hybrid schedule. EDC tuition is charged only for the two days your child is scheduled to attend school in person.
If you need to make any changes to your EDC contracted service or have questions, please call the Children’s Services Department office at 440-885-2484.In accordance with District policy, child care is not available while students are in remote learning. No tuition is charged.
Extended Day Child Care is not subsidized with funds from the Parma Board of Education. We rely on full and timely tuition payments from parents like you who contract for child care service. No child care will be provided unless payment for service has been credited to your account.
NEW EDC ENROLLMENT 2021-2022
New EDC enrollments for the 2021-2022 school year will be accepted beginning Monday, May 17, 2021. The Inquiry Form for the 2021-2022 school year will not be available before May 17th.
PAYMENT POLICY FOR CHILD CARE SERVICE EFFECTIVE AUGUST 2020
Tuition for Extended Day Child Care Services must be pre-paid monthly or bi-monthly by the 15th of the month prior to the service period. A schedule of EDC service periods and due dates are listed on the Tuition Changes for 2020-2021 tab of our website. The schedule will also be included with the enrollment information registered parents receive. PARENTS ARE NOT CHARGED DURING REMOTE LEARNING.
