As the 2007-08 school year comes to an end, the Parma City School District staff is to be commended for everything you have done for yourselves.  Yes, I am applauding you all for taking care of, not only the students in your classrooms and the children in your homes, but for taking care of YOURSELVES. 

As a staff, we have taken time out of our busy schedules to lose over 1000 pounds in 3 months.  Many staff members took the opportunity to participate in the Reiki, TaiChi, and Yoga programs that were presented in April and May.  We "got the year off on the right foot" with Walktober and the Holiday Challenge.  The Arthritis Foundation came in and gave a one hour presentation on care and concerns that face arthritis sufferers.  Not to mention, we had over 250 participants in the Health Risk Appraisals. 

I truly appreciate everything you have done to make the Parma City School District Team a much healthier team to be a part of.
