School Attendance: Truancy and Dropping Out

  • Research has proven students who have excessive absenteeism in the elementary levels increase the likelihood of truancy and/or dropping out.  According to the Committee for Economic Development, eighty-two percent of our prison inmates are dropouts.  Click on the above link for information on truancy and educational neglect.
