Classroom Policies / Procedures
Homework Homework will be assigned periodically throughout the course. For long-term reading projects, students will have multiple days to complete the assignment. For classwork that may require additional time, students may have nightly assignments that are DUE THE NEXT DAY.
Home Access Center / Online Grades Grades will be updated on a weekly basis on the district grade book system. I use a weighted style of grading. Here is the breakdown for the quarter grade: - 25% Tests and Quizzes (listed as "Tests" on Grade Book system)
- 25% Classroom Activities (listed as "Classwork" on Grade Book system)
- 20% Science Notebook (Listed as "Other" on Grade Book system)
- 20% Attendance and Behavior (listed as "Participation" on Grade Book system)
- 5% Activity Period Assignment (listed as "Projects" on Grade Book system)
- 5% Science Articles Homework (listed as "Homework" on Grade Book system)
