Honors Chemistry I
Chemistry is the study of matter and the changes it undergoes. This course explores the concept of matter and its properties. Focus is on elements and the formation of compounds, atomic structure, and the principles of chemical bonding. Problem solving, mathematical analysis of data, and logical thinking are emphasized. Chemistry I Honors provides the student with an excellent foundation to continue their science education by taking Physics Honors, Biotechnology Honors, and Advanced Placement Chemistry.
