Advanced Placement Chemistry
This Course is designed to be the equivalent of the general chemistry course usually taken during the first college year.  Topics such as the structure of matter, kinetic theory of gases, chemical equilibria, chemical kinetics, and concepts in thermodynamics will be discussed in considerable depth.  At the end of the year students take the Advanced Placement Chemistry exam to earn credit for the first year of college chemistry.

Prerequisites  Chemistry I, Algebra II
Fee              $17.00

This is a block course that meets 8
out of 10 periods per week.

Scientific Calculator (Graphing preferred)
Binder
Paper (loose-leaf only)
Pencil and Pen (blue or black ink only)
