Important Normandy News and Projects!
The Normandy Environmental Club is Selling Compact Florescent Light bulbs, they are 100 watt and are $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00!!! They will be available at many parent events, or you can contact Mrs. Sutyak with the quantity you desire and a check made payable to Normandy Environmental Club. They are available immediately!

The Normandy Faculty Scholarship committee continues to collect and recycle used cell phones. Additionally, we can take portable DVD players, Ipods, MP3's etc. All monies are applied to student scholarships. SOOO, when you are spring cleaning, why not donate those unused items. We will even take them if they are not working. NO PHONE CHARGERS PLEASE!

Recycle Paper Please!!! The bright yellow and green paper bin can be found behind Normandy by the tennis courts and weight room. The proceeds benefit NHS Environmental club in its efforts to keep Normandy GREEN!!!

11/18: Go over Review Guide and Play Organic Chemistry Review Game

11/19: Organic Chemistry Unit Test, Page 64-71 Book Assignment

11/20: Begin Osmosis and Diffusion Demonstration, Take notes on Cell theory and Introduction to Cell, Watch Osmosis and Diffusion Laser Disk Clip

11/21: Day 2 Demo and Plasma Membrane Activity

11/24: Day 3 Demo, Osmosis Video Clip and Notes, Finish Plasma Membrane Activity

11/25: Day 4 Demo, Watch Plasma Membrane Video Clip, Complete and Turn in Osmosis and Diffusion Packet

11/26-28:  Thanksgiving Break!!!!  Happy TURKEY DAY!!

Honors Biology:

(We are about to finish our work with populations and will receive our biome assignment.  We will be spending extensive time in the media center and computer resource lab during that project so that we can integrate some technology into our studies!)

  • High School Honors Diploma: West Geauga High School
  • I am married and have three little boys.  Their names are Tommy, Cole and Jeffrey.  
  • Tommy plays hockey and football and is a fifth grader at Green Valley
  • Cole is a cub scout and is a third grader at Green Valley
  • Jeffrey is five and plays hockey.  He attends Normandy's daycare center. 
  • Our  Puppy is a Cocker Spaniel named Mindy.
  • We also have a gray and white cat named Maya.
  • Additionally, the boys have 2 hermit crabs and 1 frog!
  • We enjoy vacationing in Walt Disney World and Camping in New York!
  • We live in Seven Hills!
