*PLEASE NOTE*

Each evening students do have Math homework. Please use the Family Letter to assist you when helping your child completehomework assignments. Their Student Reference Book (SRB)is also helpful too! I tell students to take this home each evening.

DAILY FACT PRACTICE HOMEWORK

Each evening students are to study their multiplication and division fact tables. An adult is to sign and date the Daily Fact Practice Sheet in their Homework Folder. This lets me know that the student has completed the assignment. They can practice facts on the computer, verbally with an adult or with actual cards. This assignment is worth 2 points per day. It is averaged as part of each student's homework grade.

The Book Report Literature Genre This Month Is: Realistic Fiction

*Students should be taking books out of the library from this genre to read for pleasure as well.

Background Information

I graduated from Cleveland State University in December of 2001.  From January to June of 2002, I was a substitute teacher within the Parma City School District.  I began teaching at Green Valley Elementary in the Fall of 2002.

In July of 2006, I graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a Master's Degree of Arts in Education.  My area of specialization is Reading.  I love children's books a great deal.  I try to incorporate books into each subject I teach to enhance my instruction.

This year, I am currently teaching Fourth Grade Science and Math.

I am very lucky to be working at the "Best School on the Planet"!
