Sundae Bar Dates & Guidelines

Students will receive “Dog Tags” in lieu of ribbons.  The students place the tags on a chain and then wear their recognition on Spirit Day.  The tags are colorful, fun to collect, and a keepsake of their accomplishments at Parma Park.  Samples are available to review.

Categories:

v      Attendance – Perfect attendance for the quarter

v      Academic Achievement – A/B in all subjects, as well as, O/S+ in other areas

v      Citizenship – Based on work/social skills on the report card (all +’s)

v      Rising Star – significant improvement in more than one area

v      Athletic Award – two students per class chosen by Physical Education teacher

v      Music Award – two students per class chosen by General Music teacher

v      Art Award - two students per class chosen by Art teacher

Times:

v      1:30-1:55        First and Third Grades (Third grade stays in cafeteria from lunch time.)

v      2:00- 2:25       Fourth and Sixth Grades

v      2:30 – 2:55      Second and Fifth Grades

Procedures:

v      Tags distributed by teachers prior to assembly.

v      Please review expected behaviors prior to assembly.

v      Class picture as students enter.

v      Students receive ice-cream treat.

v      Children sit at designated tables.

v      Names are called per category.

v      Classes exit left door, so next group can come in right door.
