Normandy's History

Normandy High School opened in 1968 and graduated its first class in 1970. Normandy is a part of the Parma City School District which encompasses the three communities of Parma, Parma Heights, and Seven Hills, located on the southwest boundary of Cleveland, Ohio. Normandy is located approximately three miles west of I-77 on West Pleasant Valley Road. It was the third high school in the Parma City School District and designed in the 1960’s California architectural style by John A. Lipaj. It has two domes (auditorium and gym) which are connected by three floors of classrooms. The auditorium was renovated in 2003 and the gym was renovated in 2006.
