The College Board maintains this site. Students can indicate their personal interests to find out about different jobs and careers. This website is sponsored by the Federal Family Education Loan Program and includes information to help plan your career, select a school, and pay for your education. A multifaceted site that contains information or career resources, resumes, job outlooks, etc. with links to other sites. FINANCIAL AID The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators provides a free, comprehensive, independent and objective guide to student financial aid. This site includes links to other sources of financial aid and information about planning for higher education, loan information and a financial aid handbook. This site allows students to enter information about themselves and are given a list of scholarships that they might qualify for. By providing a password the student can periodically check their "mailbox" to see if new scholarships have been added. COLLEGE SEARCH Apply to colleges online. Resource link to more than 3000 colleges, nursing schools, and business schools The College Board's database contains information 3,200 four-year and two-year colleges. Students can enter criteria based on geography, enrollment, tuition, majors offered, sports, etc. and the program will identify schools matching the criteria This is a search engine that identifies colleges based on the student's chosen criteria. It also provides links to college and university homepages. The homepage of Petersons gives information that you would have available through the printed version plus access to school homepages. Other information such as financial aid is also available A subjective review of the schools that gives good insight into the pros and cons of the institutions.
