Välkomna!

Complements of Ms. Kopp's English 9 classes last year, and Mrs. Kennedy's Computer Resource Lab, Normandy is excited to welcome 40 Swedish exchange students accompanied by their two English teachers.  Through Mrs. Kennedy's KEYPAL program, Normandy students and their Swedish keypals communicated throughout the last year via e-mail and videoconferencing. The culmination of all their efforts were exhibited in the welcoming reception at the airport this evening.

Today, Group #1 arrived in Cleveland at 5:50 p.m.  Normandy students greeting their Swedish keypals/exchange students in person for the first time at the end of the American Airlines Concourse at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport!  A pizza party at St. Peter Church in Seven Hills helped ease the transfer to the hosting families.
