Boston Trip – Day One: So today’s our first day away from Ohio. After leaving at 5:10 in the morning we all enjoyed a 12 hour bus ride full of sleeping and screaming. When we got to Mark Twain’s house in Hartford, Connecticut, it was pouring down rain (which it’s been doing the whole trip, blast you weather Gods!). Mark’s house was beautifully decorated, and fun to walk through (although it was kind of sad that we couldn’t take pictures of the inside of the house). After we all took a trip through the Mark Twain bookstore, we boarded the bus for another 3 hours. Finally, when we got into Boston our bus drivers took a turn, and another turn, “taking the scenic route” to our hotel. Sadly they got us hopelessly lost on a side street the size of the bus. In the end, we ended up backing up the whole street (which I don’t advise on a bus) and, we made it to our hotel half an hour after our curfew. Now we’re all dozing off so we’ll see you tomorrow!
