Final Project

The UA team is finishing up the exciting March Madness attendance campaign. Each week during the month of March, UA classes were in competition for the best attendance and the top class won an ice cream treat for everyone in the class. Mr. Lupson's 3rd period Tech class won the first week, Mrs. Bodner's 5th period reading class won week two, Mr. Dicken's Art class won the third week. Week four, all classes from the entire month were eligible for a free pizza, and congratulations goes to Mrs. Konecsni's Math Strategies class who were the lucky winners. Students were also awarded individually. Any student who had perfect attendance for the month of March had their names put in a drawing for some wonderful donated prizes, ranging from Wendy's and Taco Bell gift certificates, South West airlines items, free bowling, t-shirts from Fitworks and even the IX indoor amusement park tickets. We were also very lucky when Chiplote came through with a big donation and all students on our perfect attendance list (748 of them) will be receiving a certificate for a free burrito, and Atlas Printing also came through big by donating a free perfect attendance t-shirt for all our perfect attendance students. These two prizes will be distributed soon! The entire UA team worked hard on this attendance campaign, hopefully bringing us one step closer to the excellence we strive for at Greenbriar, both in grades and attendance and on the state report card. Contributors for March madness were: Wendy's, Western Reserve Restaurant Management, Inc., SouthWest Airlines, YMCA, Ranco Industries, Chipolte, Samsung Representative  Sam Galioto, Taco Bell Representative David Finney, IX Center Special Events Sales Director, Fitworks and Atlas Printing President Brian Rengh.
