Open House/Fall Fest: 2003
Parma City School Board President, Mr. Kevin Kelley, celebrates First Step's annual Open House/Fall Fest. This annual social event gives children and their families an opportunity to visit their preschool together. 
The Giving Tree In the spirit of the season, students at First Step donate hats, scarves and mittens to the Giving Tree. These items are then donated to St. Malachi Center. 
A Time For Us Special Education Supervisor, Ms. Mary Ziemke, shares a social moment with a preschooler at First Step.

Lending Library Established in 1998 through community and private donations, First Step's library promotes a love of reading in early childhood. Dedicated parent volunteers help maintain it's upkeep and operation. 
Open House/Fall Fest 2003 First Step's annual Open House also gives families the opportunity to purchase fall decorations and baked goods. The proceeds from these fundraisers help to support First Step Preschool. 
Pretend Play Pretend play is an important part of children's development. A "hospital" is set up in this classroom during Community Helpers week.

...and his wild things make an annual visit to First Step. Preschoolers have an opportunity to see animals like Tortellini the Turtle.

The Giving Tree 2004 
In traditional First Step spirit, the annual Giving Tree is filled by generous staff, students & families with items to be donated to St. Malachi Center.
Field Day...2006  Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, Field Day was a new event at First Step. Although weather prompted a change of venue, great fun was had by all!

Mary Ziemke welcomes Mandy Moo to First Step. During this lively presentation, the children learned the basics of good nutrition and exercise.
