Office Technologies
 
This course prepares students to become an administrative assistant in an office. Individualized instruction is given to improve basic office skills in keyboarding, computers, record keeping, business math, business English, office practice, office machines, filing, and related topics. Students will be trained in Microsoft Office Suite software with MOS certification possible. As seniors, students may elect either the Medical/Legal Secretary or the Cooperative Business Education options.

This course refines skills acquired in Office Technologies I. The course offers advances instruction in Microsoft Office, advanced text editing, business English, related office topics, and interviewing techniques. Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary and document formatting for the medical and legal fields. Students who qualify as Tech Prep may earn up to 10 semester hours of college credit
 
Junior class meets 6-8 period.
Senior class meets 1-3 period.
