Medical Health Professions prepares students to assume careers in medical assisting, nursing assisting, medical laboratories, dietary, pharmaceutical, or veterinarian settings. This course provides the basis for additional careers in nursing, physical and occupational therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, EMT, or physician assisting. Students who complete this course will receive Certificates of Completion in Medical Assisting, Nursing Assisting, and a CPR/First Aid Certification.
Students who qualify as Tech Prep may earn 11 to 14 semester hours of college credit.
This course fee does not include a uniform or Terminology Book.
Junior classes meet 6-8 period.
Senior classes meet 1-3 period.
