This course covers the basic requirements for licensing, which includes bacteriology, sanitation, anatomy, sterilization, shampooing, manicuring, application of artificial nails, hair styling, hair coloring, and facials. One unit of English is also included in the five periods, which counts towards graduation requirements. Upon completion of the two-year program, the student will take the State Board of Cosmetology Examination to obtain a beautician’s license.
The course fee does not include the Cosmetology Kit fee, which is $140.00.
