Maintenance 2007 During the past school year, the Maintenance Department processed approximately one thousand work orders in a timely and efficient manner. These projects include: - The hot water tank at Hillside replaced, along with the feed water make-up tank and 80 feet of domestic water line at Thoreau Park.
- Required electrical circuits installed at John Glenn and Parma Park prior to the installation of the new kilns and exhaust fans.
- Three-ton A/C unit removed from the old Administration Building for installation at PSH theater dressing rooms.
- ADA restroom improvements completed at Valley Forge High School for the special needs classes.
- Continuing improvements to classroom doors completed for lock down compliance.
- Several classrooms had new tile floors installed at Greenbriar, Thoreau Park and Parma Park schools.
- The TV studio at Normandy High had new sound proofing installed along with a new coat of paint.
- The office for teaching staff constructed and painted at Shiloh, along with the needed electrical.
- A new wall constructed in the Foreign language department at PSH.
